Giulio Bonasone

Giulio Antonio Bonasone (* beginning of the 16th century in Bologna ) was an Italian engraver.

He formed after Marc Anton, flourished about 1531 to 1574. Its numerous leaves ( 354 ) biblical, mythological and historical content after Raphael, Michelangelo, Primatice among others suffer frequent, especially in the background and line Accessories on volatility or impropriety, but are interpreted in a picturesque spirit, and have contributed significantly to the development of the engravers art.
