Giuma Ahmed Atigha

Giuma Ahmed Abdallah Attaiga (Arabic جمعة أحمد عبدالله عتيقة, born 1950 in Misurata, Libya Kingdom ) is a Libyan politician who acted as a temporary transitional head of state of Libya from 28 May 2013. His successor is Nuri Abu Sahmein.

For the election of Libya's National Congress on July 7, 2012 Giuma Attaiga was elected as independent members of Congress. On August 10, he was elected Vice President of the General National Congress. Giuma Attaiga was after the resignation of President Mohammed Yusef el- Mega Called for President of this Congress. As Head of State Prime Minister Ali Seidan he was also commander in chief of the army.
