The Jerome Gambit is an opening from the game of chess with the trains 1 e4 e5 2 Nf3 Nc6, 3 Bc4 Bc5, 4 Lxf7 Kxf7 , 5 Sxe5 Sxe5. The ECO code C50. It is named after the chess player Alonzo Wheeler Jerome. The aim of this gambit is to expose through the sacrifice of a runner and a knight of the king to attack him more easily and can checkmate. This gambit is very risky, as White for his attack sacrifices two figures and thus obtained material disadvantage.
