Life

The first and probably still the best known picture " Zurich Ice Age" 1975 aroused a great sensation. It shows in photo-realistic style as a auffassbares apocalyptic scenario in Zurich: The Ice Age has broken out between the historic houses ice floes that are still stuck a warship and on which stand about penguins. The picture has been interpreted as an indictment inter alia on the supposedly frozen, ossified relationships of the former Zurich, which were denounced by the Zurich Youth Movement and writers such as Fritz Zorn.

He learned Ruedi houses man, with whom he many productions and actions aufführte in the sequence, eg 1985 " Bleu et gentil ": Disguised as the Zurich police, the two artists walked hand in hand through the city.

With Roman Casanova, he painted more recently " round- Herbilder »: One artist painted a picture, this was photocopied in color, then more or less strongly from the other (but never completely ) painted over. It was re- copied and sent back - emerged from March 1997 until the end of 2003 in this way 83 pictures that were exhibited together.
