Geography

The sliding Erbach rises in the hall Hauser mountains, about 1.3 km south of Bracht in the field of Schmallenberg. The source is located south of the saddle between Bracht ( 599.9 m) and Helle ( 614.1 m) at an altitude of 486 m above sea level. NN. From here, the creek flows primarily in southern directions. After a 5.05 km long river stretch of the creek flows near Gleierbrück to 301 m above sea level. NN on the right side in the Lenne. The case surmounted height difference of 185 m, corresponding to an average bed slope of 36.6 ‰. The sliding Erbach drains a 10.12 km ² large catchment area over Lenne, Ruhr and Rhine to the North Sea.

The Gleierbachtal is largely uninhabited, but is used by the L928 and used some ponds.
