Gleis 8
Track 8 is a German pop band. It was founded in 2012 by the former Rosenstolz singer AnNa R.. Other band members are saxophonist Lorenz Allacher, who already played in the Rose Pride tour, Timo cod as well as the drummer and keyboardist Manne Uhlig.
History
AnNa R. and saxophonist Lorenz Allacher who live in Berlin, the end of 2011 began to work on new pieces. At the birthday party of R. AnNa they met the hamburger producer Timo cod. This established contact with the Hamburg Drummer Manne Uhlig and the four musicians formed the band track 8 The name is an allusion to the fact that the musicians of the band often have to commute between Hamburg and Berlin and the ICE train to Hamburg to Berlin Main Station from platform always 8 exit. In January 2012, the musicians met for the first time to work. Later, Universal Music Group took over the contract.
On May 10, 2013 provided the title appeared Who am I and the debut single on 24 May 2013, remains always as the band's debut album, which was recorded in studios in Hamburg and Berlin.
