Glen Canyon National Recreation Area

The Glen Canyon National Recreation Area includes a 5076 km ² large area around Lake Powell in the U.S. states of Utah and Arizona. However, the largest part around Lake Powell is desert.

The protected area of national importance has about 2 million visitors annually. In Glen Canyon NRA, there are 4 campsites, five marinas and two small airports. The southwestern end of the Glen Canyon NRA can be reached 95 on the U.S. Highway 89 and Arizona State Route 98, the north-eastern end of the Utah State Route 276 or the Utah State Route.
