Glen Graham

Glenn Graham ( born January 17, 1904 in Los Angeles, California, † July 19, 1986 in Nevada, Missouri) was an American track and field athlete, who specializes in the pole vault. He started for the California Institute of Technology and weighed 68 kg at a height of 1.80 m.

In the Olympic year 1924 he was at the state championships, which won Edwin Myers, no place, however, qualified for the knockouts, with a quadruple draw - jumped Glenn Graham, Lee Barnes, James Brooker and Ralph Spearow all 3,96 m - ended. Then in the final of Paris, there was a jump-off between Graham and the 17- year-old Barnes, the Barnes decided for themselves. Graham won the silver medal; for both athletes 3.95 m were recorded. The third-place finisher, James Brooker, jumped 3.90 m.
