Glen Murray (politician)

Glen Murray ( born October 26, 1957 in Montreal, Quebec ) is a Canadian politician.

At school, Murray attended the John Abbott College and studied at Concordia University in Montreal. From 1998 to 2004 he was mayor of the city of Winnipeg. His predecessor in the office of mayor was Susan Thompson, and was succeeded by Sam Katz. Since February 4, 2010 Murray is represented as a deputy in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. Since August 2010 he is research and innovation minister in the province of Ontario. Murray is a member of the Ontario Liberal Party.

Murray is married to Rick Neves and has one child. He lives with his family in Toronto.
