Global Times
The Global Times (环球 时报Chinese, Pinyin HUANQIU Shibao ) is one of two national English-language daily newspapers in China. It is published under the auspices of the Renmin Ribao, the organ of the Communist Party of China and bears the motto "Discover China, discover the world".
In 1993 HUANQIU Shibao环球 时报was founded as a Chinese-language daily newspaper; 20 April 2009 appeared the first English edition. Hu Xijin, the publisher of English-language version, said that he expects the first year of the show with losses of 20 million yuan.
