Glódís Perla Viggósdóttir

Glódís Perla Viggósdóttir (born 27 June 1995 Kópavogur ) is an Icelandic footballer.

Career

In the club

Viggósdóttir started her career with Breiðablik Kópavogur. In 2009 she left Keflavík and began her career with the Senior Reserve team Handknattleiksfélag Kópavogs. In summer 2010, she left Iceland and moved to the Danish 1st Division to Horsens SIK. There they achieved in their first professional season in 21 games, 14 goals, and was signed by the Icelandic UEFA Women's Champions League participants Stjarnan Gardabær on 22 December 2011. Her international debut for Stjarnan they played on 26 September 2012 in the UEFA Women's Champions League against Zorkly.

For the national team

The midfielder plays for the Icelandic national team and gave her A international debut on 15 September 2012 against the Northern Ireland national football team of women. In 2011 she took part in the UEFA U -17 European Championship in Switzerland already for the Icelandic U -17.
