GÅ‚odzino

Głodzino ( German: Glötzin ) is a village in Poland powiat Świdwiński in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. 15 km southwest of Białogard ( Belgard ) located it belongs to the rural community Rabino.

History

The former manor village Glötzin with the Vorwerk fire concern ( former Polish Name: Węgliny ) is located at an altitude of 126 meters above sea level There was once a fief of the family of Podewils. So were 1645 Lieutenant Colonel Podewils and Joachim and Christoph von Podewils owner of the village. In 1767, Major General Friedrich Wilhelm von Podewils took possession of the goods. After 1780 it belonged to Carl Erdmann Freiherr von Reitz stone, Privy Councillor Friedrich Gottlieb Anderson, Daniel Ziemer and the families Kanneberg and Klertner. Even still changed hands until Glötzin was versiedelt after the First World War. The settlers came from the local area, but also from West Prussia, Posen, Volhynia and the Upper Palatinate.

In 1867 lived in the community Glötzin 172 people ( in 27 buildings ), mainly from the agriculture and forestry. The population grew until 1939 only marginally to 176 station was the 6 km from Great Rambin (now Polish: Rabino ) on the Reichsbahn Berlin - Stettin - Pomerania - Gdansk - Kaliningrad. Only minor side roads leading from Glötzin after Schivelbein or to Great Rambin and on to Belgard, it was in the district area until 1945. In the village there was a blacksmith and a shoemaker.

Last Herbert Ponath was mayor of the municipality Glötzin. The service of the District superintendent of Great Rambin, whose consular district Glötzin belonged, knew George Maass. Registrar in the United Rambin were Steltner John and Walter Schulz. The local court was in Belgard.

In March 1945 Glötzin was taken with fire concern of the Red Army troops without a fight. In 1946 came the expulsion of the indigenous population after the village of Poland had been assigned.

Church

In Glötzin itself, there was no church. The village belonged to the parish Arnhausen ( Lipie ) in Belgard county church of the Church of the Evangelical Church of Pomerania Old Prussian Union. The way to Kirchdorf Arnhausen was 11 km, and so it was a relief for the Glötziner than in 1927 in the United Rambin, a new church was built. In 1914, the United Rambin was ( with associated villages such as, inter alia, Glötzin ) became an independent parish, but remained daughter church to Arnhausen. Last German pastor there was Egbert Zieger.

Today Głodzino belongs to Parafia ( parish ) Koszalin ( Koszalin ) the Diecezja Pomorsko Wielkopolska ( Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland ) - based in Sopot ( Sopot ) - the Kościół Ewangelicko - Augsburski ( Luterański ) w Polsce (Evangelical Church of the Augsburg ( Lutheran ) Confession in Poland). Services are held in Białogard in Kościół Sw. Jerzego (St. George Church ) instead.

School

In 1928, teachers August Steineke taught at the village school Glötziner 15 boys and 19 girls. He was the last headmaster before the Second World War. In 1939, a kindergarten was established on the farm by Artur Bahr.
