Gluttony

Gluttony (even gluttony, gluttony, greed, self-indulgence and intemperance ) means " rich and immoderate eating and drinking" and is commonly known as the sixth of the seven deadly sins.

Gluttony (Latin gula ) is the trait vice, a man who leads him to a dissolute and intemperate life. According to Catholic tradition, enabling people to be ungrateful to God and the gift of life. The penalty for this deadly sin is banished to hell and the suffering eternal pain. Therefore, nuns, monks, and very devout Christians lead a modest life. The gluttony thus contrasts with the Christian virtue of moderation.

Gluttony was one of the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah.
