Gmina Czernichów, Silesian Voivodeship

Czernichów is a village and seat of the rural community in the powiat Żywiecki in the Polish province of Silesia in the south of the country near the border with Slovakia. The village has about 1000, the rural community of 6,500 inhabitants.

Community structure

The municipality consists of the villages Czernichów, Tresna, Międzybrodzie Bialskie and Międzybrodzie Żywieckie and extends over 56.26 km ².

Adjacent communities

The municipality is bordered by the cities of Bielsko- Biała and Zywiec and the municipalities Kozy, Łękawica, Łodygowice, Porąbka and Wilkowice.
