GNOME Ease

Ease ( for " lightness ", " convenience " english ) is a free presentation program for the GNOME desktop environment. It is part of the free office software package GNOME Office.

Ease needs very little training time with his very simple and clear structure. To create new presentations of different templates are offered. It can be integrated images and videos. Matching media content can be found directly from the program interface out in the offers of online platforms such as Flickr or Open Clip Art. Results can be exported to PDF, PostScript, or HTML.

The project by Nate Stedman was initiated in May 2010. During the summer, Stéphane Maniaci was joined by, who worked under a grant from the Google Summer of code in the project.

Ease is distributed as free software in the source code under the terms of version 3 of the GNU General Public License ( GPL).

It is developed in the programming language Vala and uses GTK for the user interface and Clutter for the display of animations.
