The offshore wind farm " Godewind 1" is an originally planned by the wind farm developer PNE Wind offshore wind farm in the German Exclusive Economic Zone ( EEZ) in the southern North Sea. In August 2012, Dong Energy acquired the rights to the wind farms. The area is located 33 km north of the island of Norderney and covers an area of ​​40.08 km ² with water depths 28-34 meters.

Originally should be used 54 wind turbines of the REpower 6M with 6.15 MW and a rotor diameter of 126 meters. A contract with the manufacturer was closed in March 2012. In April 2013 it was announced that the new owner Dong Energy instead it uses 55 gearless turbines of the type Siemens SWT - 6.0 -154, which exhibit at a nominal output of 6 MW and a rotor diameter of 154 meters. In November 2013, the contracts for the supply of wind turbines including the maintenance services for five years were signed. The construction is to take place in 2015 with the help of the installer vessel Sea Installer by A2SEA.
