Gołkowo, West Pomeranian Voivodeship
Gołkowo ( German Birkenfelde ) is a dwelling-place in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. It belongs to the Gmina Rymań (Town novel).
Geographical location
The living space is located in Eastern Pomerania, about 80 kilometers north-east of Szczecin, about two kilometers north of the village Rymań (novel). East of the living space was the, now disused, railway novel Kolberg Kolberg the narrow-gauge railway. Adjacent are about two kilometers to the west, the deserted village Małobór ( Waldhaus ) and about one kilometer north of the living space Lędowa ( Waldhof ).
History
Birkenfelde was a Vorwerk of the manor in the novel. Until 1928 it belonged to Gutsbezirk novel, then it came with the dissolution of the estate districts in Prussia to the municipality novel. By 1945 Birkenfelde made a living space of the municipality novel and belonged to the district with this Kolberg- Körlin Pomerania.
After the Second World War came Birkenfelde how completely Pomerania to Poland. It was the Polish place names Gołkowo.
