Golshifteh Farahani

Golshifteh Farahani (* July 10, 1983 in Tehran, persian گلشیفته فراهانی, also Golschifteh ) is a living in France since 2009, Iranian actress. She won several movie awards, including the Crystal Simurgh of the International Fajr Film Festival in Tehran.

Life

Golschifteh Farahani is the daughter of actor and theater director Behzad Farahani and sister of actress Schaghayegh Farahani. At the age of five, she began to play piano and learn music. At 12, she attended a music school in Tehran, with 14 they occupied the main role in Dariush Mehrjui film Derakht -e Golabi ( The Pear Tree ), for which she won the Crystal Simurgh of the 16th International Fajr Film Festival for Best Actress.

Career

Golshifteh Farahani is committed to environmental protection and was further in Iran Ambassador for the fight against tuberculosis.
