Gonfreville-l'Orcher
Gonfreville -l'Orcher is a commune with 9119 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Seine- Maritime in the Haute -Normandie; it belongs to Arrondissement Le Havre and Canton Gonfreville -l'Orcher. It was created by the merger of the former parishes Gonfreville and Gournay. Name Completion l' Orcher comes from ancient feud and the associated family Aurichier who still owns the lock.

In the resort one of the largest refineries in the country is located. On 360 acres with 1,100 employees; 350,000 barrels are produced daily.
