Goran Blažević

Goran Blažević ( born June 7, 1986 in Split) is a Croatian football goalkeeper. Since 2012 he is at Levski Sofia under contract.

Career

Association

Blažević started his career in the youth department of HNK Hajduk Split. At the age of 18 years, he spent two years on loan to the now defunct club HNK Trogir. 2006 his contract with Hajduk was dissolved. Blažević moved in the summer to NK Zagora Unesic. After he had come there only rarely used, he moved to the winter break to NK Junak Sinj. There he came regularly used.

After a year he moved to the Croatian first division side HNK Šibenik, where he immediately became a regular keeper. In December 2011, Šibenik dissolved due to financial problems Blaževićs on contract. In January 2012, he signed a four year contract with his boyhood club HNK Hajduk Split, where he was to replace Danijel Subašić, who moved to AS Monaco.

National

After playing in the U-16 and U-17 Blažević was not nominated for more U- national teams. In 2012 he was nominated for the first time in a friendly match against a HNL- selection.
