Goran Jeretin
Goran Jeretin ( Serbian Cyrillic Горан Јеретин; born September 17, 1979 in Nikšić, SR Montenegro ) is a Montenegrin professional basketball player. On Jeretin class associations were relatively late attention. After working in his home country he had in 2007 a short-term contract with the Israeli champions Maccabi Tel Aviv series. In the season of preparation for the following season he had a torn ACL, so he took no championship game for the German first division club ALBA Berlin in the 2007/ 08 season. Only in the 2011/12 season, he completed his first games in the German Basketball Bundesliga, when he stepped in on an interim basis at the Artland Dragons in for another injured player. Last Jeretin played in early 2013 in Cyprus for AEK Larnaca.
Career
Jeretin first played at KK Ibon from his birthplace, who played in the second Serbian- Montenegrin Division 1B. In 2001 he moved to first-class KK Lovćen from Cetinje and could be there to recommend, so that he ( Red Star German BK) played from the season 2002/ 03 at the renowned KK Crvena zvezda from the Serbian capital Belgrade. With Red Star he won two Serb- Montenegrin Cup competitions in 2004 and 2006, where he was awarded in the finals MVP. International was reached in the ULEB Cup in 2005 /06 quarter-final, which was lost to the eventual winners MBK Dynamo Moscow. For the following season Jeretin wanted to switch to Russia and signed a contract with Dynamo from Saint Petersburg. After the bankruptcy of this Association in October 2006, he joined the leading Montenegrin club KK Budućnost from the capital Podgorica. The multiple Serbian- Montenegrin champions in 2006 /07 double winners in the inaugural season of the Montenegrin championship. At mid-season, however Jeretin left the club and eventually moved but abroad.
In January 2007 he was awarded a fixed-term contract until end of season at Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel, which are of FIBA Europe affiliated and include in the European club competitions of the leading teams.
