Gornji Milanovac

Gornji Milanovac (Serbian Горњи Милановац ) is a town in Serbia. The city is located about 120 km south of the capital Belgrade. According to the 2002 census, the municipality of Gornji Milanovac had 47 641 inhabitants. In the center of Gornji Milanovac is the Serbian Orthodox Holy Trinity Church.

Geographical location

Gornji Milanovac lies between the mountains Rudnik in the north and the mountain Vujan in the south. In addition, the city is located along the European route 763 between Ljig in the north and in the south Čačak.

Gornji Milanovac is twinned with the Norwegian place Mosjøen and the Bulgarian city of Pleven.
