Gos Waterfall
The Gos is a 3.8 km long river in the district of Göppingen in Baden- Württemberg, the " Impferloch " originates southwest of Unterdrackenstein in the forest area.
The hamlet Unterdrackenstein is built on a 20 meter thick Kalksinterterrasse. This terrace was created as Quellkalk the Gos. The Gos here flows to the terrace edge and falls as a waterfall on the wall. Constantly new travertine forms. In cold winters it may happen that the Gos - shaped waterfall bizarre ice formations.
On their way through the Gosbachtal it is fed by several tributaries of the source Albtrauf. In Gosbach the Gos opens into the Fils.
