The Gösebek (also Göselbek, Göschbek or Göschbeek - Low German for " goose creek ") is a river in East Holstein, which drains the Pönitz Lakes and flows in Sleaford in the Baltic Sea.

The Gösebek flows through from the north, the Süseler lake, the Taschensee and the Little Pönitz Lake - from there it flows eastwards to the Baltic Sea. Between Taschensee and Small Pönitz Lake of the stream is piped and runs beneath an artificial incision, the so-called "Danish divide".

Originally flowed the Gösebek in the Haffkruger Lagoon until it was drained by pumping. Today it forms the lower reaches a drainage ditch for the below- sea level Haffwiesen, which ends in a pumping station between the hamlets Scharbeutz and Haffkrug.
