The station Goßdorf - coal mill ( to 14 May 1936: Station coal mill ) is a former railway station of Goßdorf and coal mill at the track Bautzen- Bad Schandau. From 1897 to 1951, today the breakpoint and stepped back station was the starting point of the narrow gauge railway Goßdorf - coal mill - Hohenstein.

History

With the opening of the section Neustadt- Bad Schandau route Bautzen- Bad Schandau on August 1, 1877 for the first time was a breakpoint coal mill, the (now linoleum plant coal mill ) at first only the persons directly located at the breakpoint paper mill was set up. Only with the opening of the narrow -gauge railway to scorn stone on May 1, 1897, coal mill, which has now been converted to a stop, opened for freight. Previously, coal mill had been greatly expanded to meet the increasing transport needs, including a wooden Umladehalle, a locomotive and a coal shed were built for the narrow gauge railway.

On 1 May 1905, the station was upgraded to the station. On May 15, 1936, the station name in Goßdorf - coal mill was changed.

With the closure of the narrow-gauge railway on 27 May 1951, the station lost greatly in importance. Public goods traffic was no longer carried out, only still serves the connection path to the linoleum factory and two smaller Anschließern. Due to the decline in traffic was eventually demoted on 27 September 1965 on the stop Goßdorf - coal mill.
