Gotabhaya Rajapaksa

Gotabhaya Rajapaksa ( born June 20, 1949) is a politician from Sri Lanka. He's since November 2005 Defence Minister of his country. Gotabhaya Rajapakse is the brother of the current president Mahinda Rajapaksa (November 2011).

18 November 2011 a court sentenced Sarath Fonseka, a general who joined after the Civil War into politics and ran against Mahinda Rajapaksa in the 2010 presidential election, to three years in prison. He was accused made ​​false accusations against Gotabhaya Rajapakse and thus " spreading rumors and provide for public disorder " to have.
