The Göttel Bach is a right tributary of Schiltach in the Black Forest.
Course
It rises in the formerly independent suburban Sulgen mountain and river flows south of the Bissingschen castle in the valley town Schramberg in the Schiltach. On his approximately 4.5km long course of Göttel Bach lays back a slope of about 400 meters.

River History
In the course of Göttel creek there was one of the first power stations in Central Europe. 1892 already electric current was produced in the Count's Bissingisch - mill on the creek Göttel in Schramberg.
