Grace Roosevelt

Grace Roosevelt ( born June 3, 1867 in Hyde Park, † November 29, 1945 ) was an American tennis player in the last decade of the 19th century.

Life

In 1890 she won with her sister Ellen Roosevelt, the women's doubles at the U.S. Tennis Championships. They defeated the defending champions Bertha Townsend and Margarette Ballard in two sets 6-1, 6-2.

Grace Roosevelt was a cousin of U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
