GrÄ…dzkie, West Pomeranian Voivodeship

Grądzkie ( German Long hook ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the Gmina Brzeżno ( Briesen ) in a circle Świdwin.

Geographical Location

Grądzkie located ten kilometers south-east of Świdwin and can be reached on a side road to Gawroniec ( Gersdorf ) in the branch before Bierzwnica ( Reinfeld ).

History

Long hook was a Vorwerk Wartenstein and belonged to the Order of St. John Commandery Schivelbein. In 1807 canon has to pay here with six hooves contribution of Briesen on Klützkow. In 1736 four Kossäten were called in Long hooks. 1891 Pretzel is mentioned as lords of the manor in a long hook.

In early March 1945, occupied Wartenstein and Long hook by Russian troops. The place was Polish, and the indigenous population was expelled. Long hook is today as Grądzkie to Gmina Brzeżno, and now back in - but the newly formed - circle Schivelbein ( = Świdwiński powiat ).

Official Long hook

The places Gumtow, Klützkow, Repzin and Wartenstein belonged to the Official Long hooks. It was until 1945 in the district of Belgard ( Persante ), but was before the district reform in 1932 Schivelbein circle, which was then dissolved.

Registry office long hook

The same places belonged to the civil registry district Long hooks. The registers of the civil registry office since 1945 are considered lost.

Church

Long hook had no church of its own, but belonged until 1945 to the parish Reinfeld. It was in the church circle Schivelbein the church of the Evangelical Church of Pomerania Old Prussian Union. Last German clergyman was Friedrich Gehrmann.

Today Grądzkie belongs to the parish of Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church.
