Gragnano Trebbiense
Gragnano is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 100 843 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Piacenza in Emilia -Romagna. The municipality is situated approximately 11 km west-southwest of Piacenza Trebbia. To the west of the limited Tidone, Trebbia the east the municipality.
History
218 BC, the Battle of the Trebbia took place: During the Second Punic War, it was not possible the troops of the consul Tiberius Sempronius Longus to hold back the Carthaginians under Hannibal, so this further advancing on Rome.
