The Grand Hotel Wien is a five -star hotel in Vienna on the Ringstrasse. It is located at Kärntner Ring 9 in the 1st district of Vienna. The operator Grand Hotel GmbH is a 100% subsidiary of the First Vienna Hotel AG which is owned by Mohamed Bin Issa Al Jaber since 2002.

History

Anton Schneider (1820-1872) presented in 1863 at the very same place ( and thus in the first section of the resulting Ringstrasse ), designed by architect Carl Tietz ( 1831-1874 ), the Maison meublée finished, the so-called Schneiderian house, a palace -like 56 6 m long and 23.5 m deep building, in which, among other things Archduke Wilhelm ( 1827-1894 ) moved into the apartment.
