Grand Prix de Rennes

The Grand Prix Cycliste de la Ville de Rennes, usually referred to simply as the Grand Prix de Rennes, is a former French cycling race.

The one-day race, which was his date for the beginning usually April and around the French city of Rennes stattfindeandt, was first held in 1979. Since the introduction UCI Europe Tour in the 2005 season, the race is part of this series and classified in category 1.1. The Grand Prix de Rennes was also from 1992 to 2008 a part of the Coupe de France, a race series of French -day races. The 2009 event was canceled due to lack of financial support from the city of Rennes. Record winner is Nicolas Jalabert, who won the race twice for itself.
