Greasby is a municipality on the lying at the mouth of the Mersey opposite Liverpool Wirral peninsula and belongs administratively to the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, the left side of the Mersey -lying part of Merseyside. Greasby has around 15,000 inhabitants.

Greasby is 2 km inland from the northwestern tip Wirrals. In the years 1987-1990 this settlement remains have been found which have been dated to the time of 7000 BC.

The place has four elementary schools, three churches, and a number of pubs.
