The Great War Island (Serbian: Veliko Ratno Ostrvo / Велико Ратно Острво ) is an undeveloped island at the mouth of the Sava and Danube rivers on the territory of the Serbian capital Belgrade. Administratively it belongs to the Zemun district of Belgrade.

The island has an area of 157.75 hectares and is one of the largest in Serbia. The upstream Small War Island has an area of 10.15 hectares. The island is of historical significance because in the past they often constituted the boundary between two great empires. Until the 19th century it was the border between the Ottoman Empire and Austria - Hungary. The island served the Austro-Hungarian Army as a base in the war against the Ottomans at Belgrade. Therefore, the island also received its present name.

The largely undeveloped island is a nature reserve since 2005 and is on the international list of the bird sanctuaries.
