Green Tree is a suburb of Pittsburgh in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The place is connected with Pittsburgh through the Fort Pitt Tunnel under Mount Washington.

In Green Tree, Congressman Ron Paul and the television actor Zachary Quinto from the series Heroes were born.

Green Tree was settled by Europeans in 1793 and used primarily for agricultural purposes. The emblem of Green Tree Borough shows a green tree on orange background. The place was named after a sycamore tree, which served, among other things stagecoaches end of the 19th century as frontlets. In its place now stands a memorial plaque. Beginning of the 20th century, the place on the station Rook was connected to the railway network of the Wabash Railroad. Since 1885, Green Tree is one of Pittsburgh.
