Greg Butler (visual effects supervisor)

Greg Butler is a nominee for the Oscar film technician who specializes in visual effects.

Life

After graduating from Suffield High School in 1993, he began to work his way in Hollywood. He has worked on films such as Jurassic Park, Forrest Gump, The Lord of the Rings, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, King Kong, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. His breakthrough achieved but only in 2011 with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 for which he received a BAFTA Award and was nominated for an Oscar. Butler is married to Lisa Rollins.
