Gregorio Rosa Chávez

Gregorio Rosa Chávez ( born September 3, 1942 in Sociedad, El Salvador) is auxiliary bishop of San Salvador.

Life

Gregorio Rosa Chavez received on 24 January 1970, the sacrament of Holy Orders and was incardinated in the clergy of the diocese of San Miguel.

On February 17, 1982, Pope John Paul II appointed Titular Bishop of Mulli and appointed him as Auxiliary Bishop of San Salvador. The Apostolic Nuncio to El Salvador, Archbishop Lajos Kada, donated him on 3 July of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Bishop of San Miguel, José Eduardo Álvarez Ramírez CM, and the Archbishop of San Salvador, Arturo Rivera y Damas SDB. Gregorio Rosa Chavez is also vicar general of the Archdiocese of San Salvador.
