Gregory Chamitoff
Gregory Errol Chamitoff ( born August 6, 1962 in Montreal, Canada) is an American astronaut.
Astronauts activity
He was assigned as a flight engineer of the ISS Expedition 17 and launched on the Space Shuttle mission STS -124 to the International Space Station. On 30 November 2008, he returned with STS -126 back to Earth.
On 11 August 2009 Chamitoff was nominated for the shuttle mission STS- 134. The start to this final mission of the space shuttle Endeavour took place on 16 May 2011, the landing on June 1.
