Grégory Vignal

Grégory Vignal (born 19 July 1981 in Montpellier ) is a French football player. The left-back is currently without a club.

Career

Vignal began his career in 1998 in the Hérault Sport Club his home city of Montpellier. In 2000 he took part in the U18 European Championship and won with the French team the title. On the young players of Liverpool FC was attentive, who signed him in September 2000. In the professional team he made his debut on 6 January 2001 at the cup match against Rotherham United. In the 2001 / 02 season, John Arne Riise came to Liverpool, who took the play position Vignals with more experience. Then he went back to RC Lens, but was the same again awarded in the English second division for Southampton FC. Vignal is 1.82 meters tall and weighs 77 kg.
