Grimbald
Grimbald (* 827, † July 8 901 ) was a Benedictine.
Grimbald was Benedictine Monastery and Prior of St- Bertin ( Sithiu ) in his home. 885 King Alfred called to England and offered him the chair Archbishop of Canterbury, but the Grimbald refused. He was co-founder of the monastery New Minister in Winchester, probably the first Dept. He died on 8 July 901 The collection of relics found 984 instead. His feast is on July 8.
