Grofri

Grofri was the name of the Austrian Automobile, which originated 1921-1931 at the car factory Gross & Friedman in Atzgersdorf in Vienna.

First, large cars were built with six-cylinder engines. From 1924, also small car that was manufactured under license of the French Amilcar emerged.

The sports cars were equipped with four-cylinder engines with SV - valve control, which possessed ³ engine capacity of over 903 cc or 1047 cm. There was also racing versions, some with Roots compressor. This racing car participated in a number of hill climbs and also achieved pleasing results.

1925, the construction of the six-cylinder models was set in 1927, the construction of small cars. 1931 Grofriwerk was closed due to precarious financial position.
