The last Count von Voss, Felix von Voss (1856-1931), sold the estate in 1929 to a Captain Kothe, however resold it because of economic problems in 1935 to the northern settlement GmbH in Berlin. The northern settlement therefore started the Aufsiedlung the place with settlers from Schleswig -Holstein, for which four new Hofsiedlungen originated outside the town. Most settlers returned to their ancient homeland in 1945 to West Germany back. The farmsteads were further divided into lots in the course of the land reform and awarded to settlers who had arrived as displaced persons from East and West Prussia, Pomerania, and the Sudetenland to Mecklenburg.
