Große Wünnow

The Great Wünnow is a tributary of the Müritz near Robel / Müritz in Mecklenburg Lake District Mecklenburg -Vorpommern. It is the sequel to the Röbeler inland lake Müritz, buckles of this but at right angles to the direction east. It has a size of about 28 hectares and is at 62.1 m above sea level. NHN. The maximum extent of the lake is 1200 meters by 360 meters. Through the swamp Sülwerhop which protrudes from the north to the Great Wünnow, the lake is divided into two equal sized sections, which are connected by an only 30 -meter-wide passage. The remaining banks are occupied by fields and meadows, the drainage ditches are the only tributaries.

On the south shore there is a large number of boathouses. The Müritz biking trail leads along the shore.
