Grubbia
Grubbia is the only plant genus of the family of Grubbiaceae within the order of the dogwood -like ( Cornales ). The botanical name honors the Swedish botanist Michael Grubb ( 1728-1808 ). The home ranges of the three species are only in the Capensis.
Description
Grubbia species are ericoid, small shrubs, there are xerophytes. The against-constant leaves are simple, leathery and curled. Stipules absent.
In capitate or cone- shaped inflorescences many flowers are summarized. The hermaphrodite flowers are radial symmetry. There are only four bracts present. There are eight ( or twelve) fertile stamens present. Two carpels to a inferior ovary grown. The single-seeded fruits are combined to form a cone- shaped fruit cluster.

The family was filed earlier in the Ericales. There are three types in the genus Grubbia:
