Grzegorz Gilewski

Grzegorz Gilewski ( born February 24, 1973 in Radom ) is a Polish football referee who whistles in the Polish first division and also FIFA referee.

Gilewski made ​​his international debut on 16 October 2002 in the European Championship qualifier between Iceland and Lithuania. In 2004, he whistled at the U- 21 Championship in Germany, among others, the play of the host against Portugal. In September 2005, he was with the German national team friendly match against South Africa in action.

Gilewski has led several UEFA Cup games and was four times so far in the Champions League active: in the encounters between Arsenal and FC Thun ( 2005), Spartak Moscow and FC Bayern Munich (2006 ) and between Rosenborg and FC Schalke 04 and FC Chelsea against FC Valencia (both 2007).

At the World Championship 2008 he served as the fourth official.
