Guardianship of the Islamic Jurists

The governorship of the jurist (Persian ولایت فقیه, DMG velāyat -e Faqih ) is a system of government in which the Islamic clergy ( Ulema ) has the absolute leadership in matters of the military, the judiciary, the legislative and executive branches of government.
