Guasayán Department

The department Guasayán located in the center of the province of Santiago del Estero in northwestern Argentina and is one of 27 administrative units in the province.

It is bordered on the north by the departments Jiménez and Alberdi, on the east by the department of Moreno, on the south by the departments Juan F. Ibarra, Sarmiento and Robles and to the west by the department of Banda.

The capital of the department Guasayán is San Pedro de Guasayán.
