Guðjón Arnar Kristjánsson

Guðjón Arnar Kristjánsson ( born July 5, 1944) is an Icelandic politician. He was Chairman of the Liberal Party Islands ( Frjálslyndi flokkurinn ) Regulations 2003 until 2009.

He was from 1967 to 1997 the captain of a fishing boat. In addition, he was an active member of the Independence Party. In 1999 he founded together with Sverrir Hemm the Liberal Party of Iceland (Icelandic Frjálslyndi flokkurinn ). From 1999 to 2009 he was a deputy in the Icelandic parliament Althingi. From 2003 to 2009 he was also chairman of his party.
