Gulf News

Gulf News is a media company in the United Arab Emirates based in Dubai. It is first line for the same English-language daily newspaper known that it publishes since 1978.

History

The newspaper was founded in 1978 by Abdullah Abulhoul and appeared with a circulation of 3,000 spending six times a week. The company was sold to the AL Nisr Publishing LLC in November 1984.

Broadcasting

The radio station of Al Nasr Publishing: Radio 1 and Radio 2 send their FM radio program from the studios in Al Wasl ( over Business Bay ) in Dubai. There is 24 -hour entertainment programs in English:

• 99.3/106 FM Radio 2: tonality directed at a young audience, Music Color: very R'n'B and hip- hop -heavy, generally mainstream chart music.

Both programs can be received in the Emirates of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman and reach over 1,300,000 listeners.
