Gulfstream G400/G450

The Gulfstream G400 (formerly marketed as the Gulfstream IV) is the manufacturer Gulfstream Aerospace, a business aircraft.

History

Gulfstream began in 1983, the work on the machine initially designated as a Gulfstream IV. The first flight took place on September 19, 1985, the pattern was admitted to the FAA in April 1987. Followed in 1992 improved GIV -SP, which on 24 June 1992 had its maiden flight, and the development of the actual G400 began in 1997. 2002, the GIV then renamed G400 Gulfstream G300 is presented and as a variant of GIV. Mid-2010, the G450 has been improved, so that the maximum take-off mass of 33,838 kg and thus, the payload was increased by 318 kg.

Use

The G400 and G450 are mainly used for the transportation of government officials, managers of large companies or for wealthy individuals.

The Gulfstream G400/G450 is used by the armed forces of Botswana, Egypt, Ireland, Ivory Coast, Japan, Netherlands, Sweden, Turkey and the United States.
